I. In Public

He didn�t want her to feel restricted

when they were together. In public,

as always, he told her to take it off �

what was underneath - the layers;

more complicated than you can imagine.

When she returned from the bathroom

there were people watching � the two

undergarments stuffed inside her purse.

If they only knew �

She felt vulnerable - she told him � she missed him

all week long. He told her he wanted to see her �

like this � opening up. He felt comfortable - with her �

he could be himself. Special, isn�t it �

thrilling � the way he liked to watch her;

revealing herself to him; backsliding -

blushing � burning � barefaced � his fingers �

fucking - that�s what they were doing.

II. Untitled

They were two very different people �

in the elevator. When no one was watching,

she unbuttoned her blouse. His lips felt good

kissing her like that. On the eighteenth floor,

he told her to touch herself � in a private place �

in front of a mirror - in a dead end hallway -

the master and his masterpiece; �Untitled� �

�Work In Progress� � �Woman In Fishnet Stockings� �

(ageless) - �Man In Baseball Cap.� Just like a boy,

he was curious. He wanted to see everything,

feel everything, touch everything.

And then nothing�. The next day.

As if it never happened. Business as usual.
